What happens to the ballot of a candidate who is in the process of elimination which contains
ReplyDeletea) 2nd preference to candidates who are already eliminated;
b) 2nd preference to a candidate excess of who have already been allocated
i)Does the third preference is considered immediately or is kept in abeyance?
In such cases its go to the next live candidate. If none, then exhaust. In case of excess, it is further distributed on base of next preference.
