Amber Kasliwal's elimination would change some ranking at RCM

Breaking News: Prafulla Chhajed crosses Rajesh Loya on Durgesh Buch elimination, Dhinal Shah gets over 800 2nds! Since Dhinal needed only 3 votes from Buch elimination re-distribution of remaining 790 odd votes! The gap between Chhajed and Hegde is barely 100 votes now......and if Prafulla can close the gap to around 75 votes after Dhinal's surplus and Lalan;s elimination, he would be the FAVOURITE to take the 11th and final spot on the Council from Western region! Loya's elimination should conservatively give Prafulla around 150 to 200 2nds, considering the fact that he is extremely popular in the interiors... Only one question now remains - Can Hegde pull off a big surprise on Lalan's exit? I have my own doubts seeing the trend upto now...

Chhajed has reduced his gap with Hegde to just 64 votes and crossed Loya comfortably!!! All Prafulla needs to do is keep Hegde's lead below 100 after Lalan's elimination! If he does that, Prafulla should cross Hegde on Loya's elimination! If Prafulla has received 70 and 100 votes respectively from Vijay Bhatt & Durgesh Buch, be rest assured that he will receive not less than 200 on Loya's elimination! Prafulla Chhajed now is the favourite! Another important point to note: Lalan is exiting with around 1600 odd votes, where Nilesh Vikamsey should get not less than 400 odd 2nds ... but Nilesh needs only 64 votes to cross quota! Which means another re-distribution of around 350 odd votes will take place.... as if we have seen with Pandit & Buch's elimination where Mr. Zaware and Dhinal's surpluses were distributed, Prafulla tends to get a lot of 2nds and 3rd preferences.... my bet is that will continue with Lalan's elimination and Nilesh's surplus! A big bonanza for Prafulla - Nihar Jambusaria, who would have potentially got over 100 odd 2nds of Lalan, has already crossed quota! So again 3rd preferences come into play! Prafulla Chhajed is now the FAVOURITE for 11th and final spot!!!!!!

Breaking News: On Lalan's elimination Chhajed gets 82, Hegde gets 49! this is the status...
    11. Hegde - 1850
    12. Chhajed - 1818

Nilesh Vikamsey has secured 427 2nd preferences of Lalan's exit, crossed the quota and now around 350 of his excess votes will be distributed... Cant rule out Chhajed crossing Hegde on Nilesh's surplus distribution itself! Prafulla Chhajed now has ONE FOOT firmly inside the ICAI Council Hall!!!!!!!
