Would WIRC give its first chairman from Ahmedabad?

What Parag Raval has done is something unbelievable. You just can't think of a regional council candidate getting 2000 plus votes. Does this give any message? I understand the message is loud and clear written on the wall. Give the opportunity to lead the council to deserving candidates outside Mumbai too. The faith and confidence shown in Parag by the esteemed members by giving him a historic mandate, is a message, what people's wishes are. If you look at the distribution of excess votes of Parag, you will find everyone across the region has received the votes. This is a proof of his acceptability from  Ahmedabad to Aurangabad and Nagpur to Nadiad.

This is a need of a hour to give fair chance to council member from out side Mumbai to lead the region after long gap of ashok chandak(nagpur)

  6. I believe that we are global CA then why we are thinking of Mumbai or outside Mumbai. Anyone who deserve should take charge of WIRC. even from any small city like Surat Nashik, Aurngabad, Nagpur. CA Lokesh Khadaria

Correct, but it has always been the mindset that chairman should be from mumbai irrespective of his credentials
