Finally the magic no. for both Ahmedabad candidates after elimination of Hardik Shah from Surat. Both crossed quota. Aniket got 448 votes, Purushottam got 264 votes and Vishal Doshi got 235 votes.

A recount has been asked for Mangesh's surplus which has completely turned the game by Piyush Chhajed.

Why sitting Central Council members are struggling and losing. Only 1 out of 5 CCM elected so far is sitting member being re-elected.

This is really interesting to note that only 1 out of 5 members elected so far is a sitting member getting re elected to the council. If you look at the first preference votes, in top 5, there was not a single sitting CC member. There are 2 sitting CC member already eliminated and 2 are still struggling to be in comfortable position. 

What it indicates. May be COVID impacted their performance and visibility or may be people have much more expectation than in past from them, as all the new comer and mufasil man doing far better and people see great potencial in them to deliver on their issues at the ground level.

As 3 candidates got elected by elimination and stands above quota of 4131 and the surplus numbers needs to be distributed to tally our Balance Sheet. Remember we are CAs and keep all records perfectly howsoever complex it may be.

Breaking: Chandrashekhar Chitale from Pune crosses quota and elected..

The sub parcels of votes from elimination of Shrinivas Joshi has enabled three quota crossings and election. Chandrashekhar Chitale from Pune has been re elected with flying colours as expected and crossed quota after Shrinivas elimination. Umesh Sharma and Mangesh already crossed quota from seconds from Shrinivas. 

Chitale got 495 from 5 sub parcels and reached to 4220. Please not there are many more sub parcels to be distributed.
