CC: Ashok Thakkar eliminated

  • After Ashok Thakkar's elimination, following is position
  • 11th Atul Bheda 1518 votes
  • 12th Tarun Ghia 1381 votes
  • 13th Nihar Jambusaria 1335 votes

  • Out of Ashok Thakkar:
    • Durgesh Buch got 65
    • Mahesh Sarda got 70
    • Atul Bheda got 24
    • Nihar got 50
    • Tarun Ghia got 19

CC: End game for Durgesh and Dhinal is in safe zone!!

Dhinal is around 1600 and is in for sure. For Durgesh Buch everything is already over. Its impossible. Ashok's elimination might give votes to Durgesh, but of no use, becasue Durgesh too will be eliminated later or sooner. The only interesting part is how much Tarun Ghia and Nihar Jambusaria get from Ashok Thakkar. Tarun is having lead of around 80 votes over Nihar. Nihar will get good votes from Baroda, and so will Tarun, but will Nihar able to bridge the lead of 80 votes? To me it doesn't seem to. Even after Ashok Thakkar, Tarun will have a lead becasue 80 votes lead is very big. So watch only Tarun's and Nihar's vote from each elimination and that only make or break. So right now Atul Bheda, Nihar Jambusaria and Tarun Ghia are in race for the only available 11th place. Then again will Mahesh bhai move above or not? AFter Ashok, there is no scope for Maheshbhai. SO that will too make in interesting. And if Tarun or Bheda surpass Maheshbahi, Maheshbhai could also come in trouble, which is unlikely at this moment.

    CC: K J Bansal's Elimination started

    • After Bansal's elimination, following is position
    • 10th Mahesh Sarda 1486 votes
    • 11th Atul Bheda 1483 votes
    • 12th Tarun Ghia 1347 votes
    • 13th Nihar Jambusaria 1273 votes

    CC: Process is slow

    Dear friends,

The process is very very slow and cumbersome. So giving figure after each elimination is really very difficult as we don't have much interested people left there reporting from there.

People who are already sitting from 1st to 7th place are already there and in. They are safe. They may move little up and down the ladder but remain safe. The only interest left now in the result is about who will be last 4 candidates. And for that you need to track only candidates sitting at place from 8th to 13th. I don't see any possibility any candidate sitting at 14th to 25th place and have any chances of winning.

So what I am trying to do is informing about the latest place of the people in last 6 place. Who are there from 8th to 13th after each elimination is only important and what is difference between them. Except that there is only academic importance for figures and no.s, which unfortunately I am unable to gather at this moment.

    Hope you understand my limitations.

RC: No Progress in Regional Council

    No progress
No excess quota distributed so far

CC: Atul Bheda is down to 11th place

    • Mahesh Madkholkar is being eliminated
    • Dhinal Shah and Maesh Sarda has moved above Atul Bheda
    • Now Atul Bheda is on 11th
    • Tarun Ghia is on 12th with around 148 votes less than Atul Bheda
    • Nihar is on 13th trailing behind with 50 votes lesser than Tarun Ghia
    • Game is interesting

RC: Nagpur can have two members this time along with one each from Nashik, and Aurangabad: Jay Maharashtra

    • Nagpur can have two members this time, Makrand Joshi and Julfesh Shah both
    • Chandrakant Pawar will win comfortably
    • Umesh Sharma too have bright chances of winning
    • In that case Pune may have two seats only

RC: All Mumbai candidates sitting in first 20 list are sure to win

    • It loooks like all the Mumbai candidates sitting in first 20 list at this moment are sure to win
    • Each elimination of Mumbai candidates will increase there tally
    • Mumbai Candidates who are out of this 20 list and right now at 22 to 30 place also have fair chances of win
    • Surely with elimination progressing people out side top 22 will also move ahead and the people from out station sitting in 22 list may get down
    • Shruti and Vandana both seem to have fair chance of winning. One is for sure, but I feel, with Mumbai elimination both of them can make it this time, so very good possibilities

RC: Only Five from Ahmedabad and Pune

    • This time it seems there will be only two from Ahmedabad?
    • or say it like this five from Ahmedabad and Pune combined?
    • It looks like that both the cities combine will get 5 seats
    • May be Pune 3 or Ahmedabad 3 and the other one two
    • Parag Raval and Dinesh Gandhi are already in, I don't know why Parag sending pessimistic sms?

CC: BK Rathi eliminated. Sanjeev moves to 9th place

    • After Rathi's elimination Sanjeev Maheshwari has moved to 9th place now
    • All other has come one place down
    • So now 10th is Mahesh Sarda
    • 11th is Dhinal Shah
    • 12th is  Tarun Ghia, and
    • 13th is Nihar Jambusaria
Will the unlucky No. 13 will prove unlucky to Nihar?
or it will prove Lucky for Him?

I am providing all below figure in approximation just king at bundle size and their basket:

RC: Ahmedabad headed by Parag Raval

Looking at baskets, we can estimate approximate figures for Ahmedabad as below: These are round figure estimates looking at the lot:
    • Parag Raval 800
    • B K Patel 600
    • Nitin Pathak 600
    • Yamal Vyas 400

CC: Bhavana Doshi's surplus distributed will update figure soon

CC: In Central council only First 13 candidates are in race till Nihar Jambusaria and Tarun Ghia

    • IN Central council candidates who has ranked till no. 13 in no. of votes, are in race. All other are gone out of race
    • Its interesting to see once who is first eliminated out of Tarun Ghia and Nihar Jambusaria. Whomsoever will be eliminated first will push the other up in the ladder and may be above candidate sitting at no. 11 at that point of time and may upset the game of that candidate
    • All Gujarat elimination will push Dhinal, Tarun Ghia, Atul Bheda, Mahesh Sarda and Nihar Jambusaria above in the race
    • Same way elimination of B K Rathi, Praful Chhajed and B M Agarwal will push Sanjeev Maheshwari up in the ladder
    • So its really very interesting to see vote happens in elimination
    • For the candidates who are sitting at 10 to 13 in rank right now, the game is still dicy for them
    • Keeop your fingers crossed

    21 December 2009

One sitting candidate will still sink

    • There are 8 members re-contesting from the sitting members. And all are doing well. They stand from 1 to 10 place in current situation
    • There are 3 seats left. Dhinal Shah is sure, he is on among top fives in the chart, so no one can stop him
    • Now 2 seats left. Nilesh Shah is also in top 7 and he is also sure to win
    • Now one seat left. Zavare is in first 11. Three Pune eliminations will increase his votes, so he is sure to get in the council
    • Now we have no seat left, but some very strong candidates left, like Nihar Jambusria, Tarun Ghia and Durgesh Buch
    • Out of these three minimum one will surely make it
    • So if one will make it, one sitting will surely sink
    • Gujarat has 5 candidates to be eliminated before Durgesh Buch
    • These all 5 together carry around 1900 votes. The only person left from Gujarat will Durgesh. So whatever chunk out of these Durgesh get, can put Durgesh above Tarun or Nihar or some other sitting candidate. And that will be really game. Only one from Tarun or Nihar can come. So either of them once eliminated, will give the other a very large chunk of votes in subsequent preferences. So here lies the fun. Who reaches where. So the rank in first round is not important, how the elimination round works, there lies the key.
    • B K Rathi's elimination can move B M Agarwal upwards. Then one elimination from BM Agarwal and Praful Chhajed can move one out of these two upward, and if they move him above any current candidate can cause elimination of another person feeling safe himself.
    • So its interesting to see how things move. But its sure except one or two, all the sitting candidates are safe. Cheers!!

    Its dinner break

All stacks for first preference has been made. Now its dinner break. After that First preference count will start.

Its going to be interesting Battle. Subsequent preferences are going to play a vital role

    • Its going to be interesting Battle. Subsequent preferences are going to play a vital role
    • All sitting candidates are now seem to be comfortable
    • In addition to sitting candidates, Dhinal, Nihar, Nilesh and Zaware is doing very very well.
    • If Dhinal replace Sunil Talati, then only two additional seats are vacant, Uttam Agarwal and Preeti Mahatme and we have these 3 strong contenders for that.
    • One Pune candidate is sure to make to Central Council, Nilesh has already gathered very high no. of votes, Nihar too is doing very very well, so it's interesting to see what is going to happen
    • Don't forget Durgesh Buch, he too has full basket. So if one more from Gujarat then Mumbai has to give away one seat.
    • It seems very very sure, one sitting candidate has to loose, who is that?
    • Second preference votes are going to make a big change in situation
    • Its now become INTERESTING One day Cricket match sort of thing
    • You will see that those who are right now above in chart, will soon loose shine once elimination round get started
    • I am getting really very very excited
    • Ab Aayega Maja
