Extension of last date for CPE hours to 31st January 2013

Subject:        Extension of last date “for complying with the CPE hours requirement for the calendar year 2012” - from 31st December, 2012 to 31st January, 2013

This is for kind information of the members that it has been decided to extend the last date for complying with the CPE hours requirement for the calendar year 2012 by one month, i.e., up to 31st January, 2013.

Vandana will move up

When Mahendra Mehta and Ramesha Shetty are eliminated, they will give enough votes to Vandana that she will move up and you will see next elimination of Abhijit Kelkar and Chandrakant Pawar. Chandrakant Pawar is now sure to loose and he will be the second sitting regional council member who will be defeated in this elections. Unfortunate, but hard luck.

Dilip Apte will get more votes from the elimination of Ramesha Shetty compared to Sarvesh Joshi and that will give move him up and above Sarvesh Joshi, this is what I think.

COUNTING VENUE

 

·                     Place: The venue for the Counting will be CA Institute's premises at ICAI Bhawan, A-29, Sector 62, NOIDA – 201 309. 

 

·                     Time: The counting will start at 10.00 A.M. on each day and will continue till 5.30 P.M. or even beyond that time so that the entire process of counting of votes is completed and the results are declared latest by 9th January, 2013.

 

·                     Distance: The counting venue is 4 KMs from Vaishali Metro Station and 7 KMs from NOIDA CITY CENTRE

 

·                     Route: Members coming from Airport should take DELHI AEROCITY Metro station and get down at RAJIV CHOWK and again change/take another Metro and get down at VAISHALI / NOIDA CITY CENTRE. 

 

Shruti or Vandana or both?

Out of two female candidates Shruti Shah and Vandana Dodhia who will win? or both can win? As per my calculation, the game has become very very interesting. The fate of them is locked in the subsequent preferences of Jayesh Kala and other Mumbaikars to be eliminated. Shruti is sitting candidate so she has an advantage. You have seen in the trends, Shruti started with only 516 first prefetrence votes and got 291 subsequent preferences and reached to 24th position as of now, whereas Vandana started much above at 776 votes but could corner only 202 additional votes and now at 27th position. But difference between them is not too large and a couple of elimination can change the situation. So from my side, the probability of winning of one, is 100%, both of them is 50%.

Pune: Two or Three?

Between Dilip Apte and Sarvesh Joshi from Pune, there is a gap of 16 votes. Sarvesh can now hope second preference from Abhijit Kelkar only. Whereas Dilip Apte can hope from Mumbai candidates too. If you look at performance of Sarvesh Joshi, only Pune candidates elimnation has given him votes and kept him in fray, where as Dilip Apte got very small chunk from Pune compared to Joshi. Both of them are now in first 22, but soon they could be upset by any Mumbaikar. One of them is for sure, but both of them? Yes, still possible, keep your fingers crossed...

WIRC Trends: Aurangabad will have its WIRC candidate

• Congratulations Girish Kulkarni. WIRC will have candidate from Aurangabad, first time. Great job and wonderful performance. he was too much vulnerable, but he performed consistently and in green. He had a great threat from Chandrakant Pawar. But he has made a decisive lead over Pawar of around 100 votes and that is irrecoverable. So Girish has wont this battle. I can imagine how diffcult it is for a person from small town to conquer the WIRC against such odds. He will get another minimum 50 votes on the elimination of Abhijit Kelkar. And once Chandrakant Pawar eliminates  he will be unstoppable. So for all practical purpose he is in. 
• What is the possibility of Chandrakant Pawar? His only hope is Abhijit Kelkar. If we look back on his second preference  the largest he got is from is Ashok Pagariya 37 votes and then form Vijayakant Kulkarni that is 31 Votes. The largest he can get from Kelkar is 50, that is on the most optimistic side. And this 50 doesn't make his difference with Girish Kulkarni. C V Pawar is on 22nd place at this moment, but with elimination of Jayesh Kala and Mahendra Mehta, you will find him displaced from this position.
