ReplyDeletePlease give the details of the election
ReplyDeletewhat happened to jaydeepbhai
ReplyDeletePls explain how the elections are held...show of hands or secrect ballot..G.RamaSwamy election as Vice-president is surprising in light of various rumours for Bhavna Doshi, Jaideep Shah etc....Whois likely candidate for vice president for next term
ReplyDeletesurprising that Bhavna Doshi is not elected as vice president!
ReplyDeleteHow the election of Pre & VP is held
ReplyDeleteWhat about Rajkumar Adukia....He should have been elected
ReplyDeleteAmazing Bhavna Doshi was strong candidate for vice president
ReplyDeleteOK IT'S CA. RAMASWAMI BEACUASE SIRC PEOPLE HAVE THEIR TURN THIS TIME [ i.e. AFTER CA. MANOHARAN ] BUT IT'S REALLY SURPRISING TO NOT HAVE CA. BHAVNABEN AS V.P. LET'S HOPE FOR NEXT YEAR. CA. RAJESH PATEL, AMRAVATI
ReplyDeleteIs the election to Pres and VP as dirty as the council memebers election? Why is our Institute going the Indian Parlimentary way?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to our esteemed President and Vice Presidents on being elected.
ReplyDeleteCA. Sarveshwar Mundra
CONGRATULATION TO CA. AMARJIT CHOPRA AND CA G RAMSWAMY ON BEING ELECTED AS PRESIDENT AND V PRESIDENT OF OUR GREAT INSTITUTE OF GREAT COUUNTRY ON THE GREAT DAY LIKE MAHA SHIVARATRI
ReplyDeleteCA. BHUPENDRA N DAVE
NO one from the West was as deserving as Mr. Ramaswamy..an upright man..no drinks..( most council members are drunkards )..but he beat all others because of his unbeatable hard work in council..and all big names from West had to bite the dust since they were not united. They did not want each other to become VP..
ReplyDeleteCA Jai
Good one, first good one was shri T. N. Manoharan, now other our new VP.
ReplyDeletethe institute had become rotten egg under the leadership of uttam aggarwal and persons like pankaj jain ( brainless ), bc jain , b m aggarwal.
ReplyDeleteuttam aggarwal treated it as if his own jagir. now atleast something should be cleansed. . we should remeber that the posts are honorary and not for ones indirect benefit. we nned to appoint persons outside the feild as chairman etc and these so called experts committee be set up not this chamchas committeee for the development of the profession.
BHAVNABEN SHOULD NOT BE VP . OTHERWISE IT WILL BE AGAIN OPEN TO MR. GAUTAM DOSHI TO DO ANYTHING THROUGH RELIANCE GROUP ( ADAG )
ReplyDeleteTHERE IS LOT OF POSSIBILITY TO HAVE INDIRECT BENEFIT / MISCHIEFS BY THE FIRM IN WHICH MR GAUTAM DOSHI IS PARTNER OR COMPANY ( ADAG GROUP) IN WHICH MR GAUTAM IS DIRECTOR. BHAVNABEN SHOULD ALSO NOT TO TRY FOR VP POST IN THE INTEREST OF CA PROFESSION. MR JAIDEEP SHAH / RAJKUMAR ADUKIA ARE BEST CANDIDATES....
ReplyDeleteNow what will happed to the photos of the out going president displayed at all branches and centres ??????
ReplyDeleteCongratulations.....
ReplyDeleteCan any body tell how the elections to VP are held, or I have to file an RTI application with ICAI.. Where the transperency has gone in this matter when our institute speaks of transperrency and expect tranperceny from corporate world.
ReplyDeleteI think PREZ/VP should be elected directly by the members along with Central council ballot there should be ballot for president covering all Everthing is possible in this digital world and why not ICAI think of making election totally paperless and ask the members to vote electronically with digital signature.. I hope that new council will definately think on this issue and work to make this professional flawless and highly respectable.....
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and BEST WISHES to Shri Amarjeet Chopra (Prez) and Shri G. Ramaswamy.

i understand the council members themselves decide who the VP will be. P is the default position. Bhavna Doshi was a sensible candidate. I have not seen a single lady at the helm of affairs for the past few years. Let's bring some creativity please. My experiences of past few years with the ICAI office bearers has not been exciting or enriching. We should surely move to the next level and that can happen only by bringing in transperancy. Also members who are office bearers surely need to enhance their etiguette management skills. Some of the guys cannot communicate propertly too. And stop wasting money and time on flowers and useless mementos. Rather give something to the speaker who can feel proud of it. And also pls start sessions on time. i hope that the new central and regional council members will bring some professional sense in ICAI management which has been missing for some time now. A concerned Mumbai CA.
