The key takeaways from first preference votes of Central Council Elections

The counts for first preference votes when revealed, many people lost their sleeps. There were many upsets and there are people who disrupted those in office.

  1. I always betted on 2 from Ahmedabad where people never seen possibilities but I was sure on it. The key of 2 from Ahmedabad was to equally distribute local /periphery vote and Aniket doesn't take an obscenely high lead to wash out the chances of Purushottam and that happened.
  2. Everyone before the count declared was of opinion that Aniket is going to take the highest votes, that doesn't turn true.
  3. Mangesh Kinare has gained unprecedented lead over Srinivas Joshi, that is decisive and may upset sitting Central council member.
  4. Umesh Sharma has made a history and has made his seat permanent, not for this term, but many more terms to come.
  5. Surat has lost its seat and proved it was seat of Jay Chhaira and his personal charisma.
