Its interesting to see once who is first eliminated out of Tarun Ghia and Nihar Jambusaria. Whomsoever will be eliminated first will push the other up in the ladder and may be above candidate sitting at no. 11 at that point of time and may upset the game of that candidate
All Gujarat elimination will push Dhinal, Tarun Ghia, Atul Bheda, Mahesh Sarda and Nihar Jambusaria above in the race
Same way elimination of B K Rathi, Praful Chhajed and B M Agarwal will push Sanjeev Maheshwari up in the ladder
So its really very interesting to see vote happens in elimination
For the candidates who are sitting at 10 to 13 in rank right now, the game is still dicy for them

One sitting candidate will still sink

There are 8 members re-contesting from the sitting members. And all are doing well. They stand from 1 to 10 place in current situation
There are 3 seats left. Dhinal Shah is sure, he is on among top fives in the chart, so no one can stop him
Now 2 seats left. Nilesh Shah is also in top 7 and he is also sure to win
Now one seat left. Zavare is in first 11. Three Pune eliminations will increase his votes, so he is sure to get in the council
Now we have no seat left, but some very strong candidates left, like Nihar Jambusria, Tarun Ghia and Durgesh Buch
Out of these three minimum one will surely make it
So if one will make it, one sitting will surely sink
Gujarat has 5 candidates to be eliminated before Durgesh Buch
These all 5 together carry around 1900 votes. The only person left from Gujarat will Durgesh. So whatever chunk out of these Durgesh get, can put Durgesh above Tarun or Nihar or some other sitting candidate. And that will be really game. Only one from Tarun or Nihar can come. So either of them once eliminated, will give the other a very large chunk of votes in subsequent preferences. So here lies the fun. Who reaches where. So the rank in first round is not important, how the elimination round works, there lies the key.
B K Rathi's elimination can move B M Agarwal upwards. Then one elimination from BM Agarwal and Praful Chhajed can move one out of these two upward, and if they move him above any current candidate can cause elimination of another person feeling safe himself.
So its interesting to see how things move. But its sure except one or two, all the sitting candidates are safe. Cheers!!

All sitting candidates are now seem to be comfortable
In addition to sitting candidates, Dhinal, Nihar, Nilesh and Zaware is doing very very well.
If Dhinal replace Sunil Talati, then only two additional seats are vacant, Uttam Agarwal and Preeti Mahatme and we have these 3 strong contenders for that.
One Pune candidate is sure to make to Central Council, Nilesh has already gathered very high no. of votes, Nihar too is doing very very well, so it's interesting to see what is going to happen
Don't forget Durgesh Buch, he too has full basket. So if one more from Gujarat then Mumbai has to give away one seat.
It seems very very sure, one sitting candidate has to loose, who is that?
Second preference votes are going to make a big change in situation
Its now become INTERESTING One day Cricket match sort of thing
You will see that those who are right now above in chart, will soon loose shine once elimination round get started

IndianCAs upgrade Probability rating for Rajkumar Adukia and B M Agarwal

Our analysts has decided to upgrade probability ratings for senior sitting council member Rajkumar Adukia and first time contestant to Central Council B.M. Agarwal. We now believe they will get more votes than what we initially predicted. All the Best!!

First Count details not available before Monday Afternoon

The process of election counting is too slow. Till now only half the ballot boxes have been opened. Being Sunday, staff is less and some staff already left for the day. Process is likely to be stopped once Mumbai ballots are opened till 10 pm, and ten will resume Monday morning. And the first count will most likely to be available by Monday late afternoon.

So hold your anxieties and keep enjoying Sunday!!

Who fears what?

Its really interesting to note who fears what:

Jaydeep Shah

He got lots of vote from Pune last time. This time four Pune candidates and all strong. Working hard and could manage very very high voter turnout. This gives him sleepless nights. Pune candidate if get good no. of votes, he might not be benefited by their second preference.
Praful Chhajed is in field and is a candidate of not less than 1000 votes. He has very good in roads in muffsil. So that may eat into his votes
Gujarat has fielded many serious candidates. This will also impact Jaydeep bhai. He used to get very good votes from Gujarat. This time these votes will reach to him through second or third preferences only and this may cause him trouble.
STRENGTH: he has worked very hard for members. he has been in touch with members. he has handled Board of Studies for last 3 years. These are stimulus for increase in his votes. So let us see, how increase compensate the decrease.

Pankaj Jain

Praful Chhajed eating into muffsil votes of Pankaj. Also he is sharing votes of the firm from which they did their article ship.
Pune voting and its local candidates giving him tough time.
STRENGTH: he comes from a very very reputed family.He has a very strong and deep routed family base. He has deep in roads in industry voters.

Atul Bheda

Candidature of Nilesh Vikamsey has vertically splited his vote bank. And that is giving him hard time.
STRENGTH: He has worked really hard to reach to voters. he has maintained very very good rapport with voters throughout his tenure.

Mahesh Sarda

Very tough competition in Gujarat and 8 Candidates from Gujarat might make a dent into his first preference votes.
STRENGTH: He has a very very vast vote bank of Deloitte, the firm from which he belongs and very strong regional council candidate like N C hegde from the same firm supporting him in Mumbai. And that gives him very very clar edge over all other Gujarat candidates. He has unstinted support in Saurashtra.

Rajkumar Adukia

Very tough competition in Gujarat, from where he gets a very large chunk of votes. It may impact his first preference votes. Brij Mohan Agarwal and Praful Chhajed will eat into his votes.
STRENGTH: He has voters in each nook and corner of the region. From each polling booth he is sure to get some votes. His presence is everywhere. The great writer into him and then sharing the books to members free of charge has really made his fans everywhere. This gives him a great edge over his competitors. A focussd man with great strategies.

117 Ballot boxes are being opened.

Ballot boxes are being opened for both regional council and central council. There are around 117 ballot boxes. Speed is slow. After opening of each box, ballots are counted and tallied with the no. of votes casted. This process will really take very long. May be till late night, all ballot boxes will be opened.

Once all ballots are opened. Invalid votes will be determined. Then quota will be calculated and only then real process of making the stack of votes will be started. Once this process ends. First preference votes for each candidates will be counted.

So relax, have a good sunday family outing and dinner. Once back, log in to thsi blog and you can see where we have reached. Assure you, nothiong big is going to happen till then.
